A-Team Outfitting
Starting from $17,500.00
Healy This 8 day Hunt is conducted over bait while sitting in a 2-man tree stand 17 to 20 yards from the bait station. This hunt is 1x1 only to keep scent and noise at the hunting location to a minimum. The price includes 1 Brown/Grizzly bear and 1 Black Bear. (Additional Black Bears may be harvested for an additional fee of $2,500 per bear) We typically see 2 to 6 grizzly/brown bear and 5 to 15 black bears per bait station.
Starting from $4,500.00
Alaska This hunt takes place on Kodiak Island From Mid October to early December. The hunt area is a highly productive hunting location and has been producing quality Black-tail for over 30 years. You will have 6 hunting days and you can hunt deer the same day you fly. During the hunting trip you will see multiple bucks worth pursuing. Hunts are based out of Arctic Oven tents and have wood stoves inside for warmth and the ability to dry clothing. You will be fed a mix of Freeze dried meals and home cooked dinners. Hunts are spent glassing the slopes for deer, we usually see several small groups of deer daily with bucks mixed into these groups. In mid November or so the rut usually starts, this will allow us to "call in" deer with bleat and grunt calls. Hunters need to be able to walk at least 3 miles per day and need to be able to climb uphill and back down from sea level, slopes of around 1000'. If you have any other questions please contact me
Starting from $21,500.00
Alaska This hunt will be conducted at the end of September ( Sep 15th - 25th) during the moose rut. This hunt is Spot & Stalk and we utilize a lot of calling and glassing. Some areas may be thick with vegetation and timber or within marshlands. We are hunting prime moose habitat and great moose country can be hard to traverse. To hunt affectively we will sit and call many hours of the day waiting for responsive bulls to reply to calls and investigate. This can be very boring at times as moose are not very vocal and can be slow going at responding to your calls. Every day that goes by of the hunt the odds of success rise. The rut gets better every day you will be hunting and more and more moose should become visible as time goes on. Camps are made up of Arctic Oven tents that have woodstoves inside, you will also be provided with a shower tent so you have the abillity to take a hot shower. Meals will be a mix of freeze dried meals, home cooked dinners and there will be plenty of snacks. Black Bear, Grizzly, Wolf and Wolverine may be harvested on this hunt as well for an additional fee (See "Trophy Fees" below) For more information call Tyler Kuhn at (907-707-4165)
Starting from $18,500.00
Alaska This hunt takes place from mid to late October to the end of November on Kodiak Island. This hunt can only be had if hunter successfully draws a bear tag in the state big game lottery draw. ( I will provide more information if you contact me) Hunt is a 10 day trip, we typically see a lot of bears on this hunt as well just like our Spring hunt. the difference is on this hunt the bears seem to usually be much lower in elevation and easier to get to on stalks. Also depending on the year the bears might be down low on the salmon streams and mussel beds looking for food. When this happens it makes it very easy to get on the bear for a shot opportunity. Hunt are based out of Artic Oven Tents outfitted with wood stoves for added warmth and the ability to dry clothing and gear. We only try to shoot bears over 8' in size, many bears over the years have been killed over 10' in the area and the biggest bear squared 11'1" in size! The hunt is very optics intensive as we sit many hours glassing for bears, these bears can be hard to see in the brush so you got to stay in the glass as often as possible to find them. Sitka Black-Tailed deer can be hunted as well during hunt for an additional fee.
Starting from $16,000.00
Alaska Description: The Hunt Is conducted in Southcentral Alaska. We will be glassing the foothills looking for mature boar bears as they come out of Hibernation and begin traveling the slopes looking for food and females. This hunt is a very Optics intensive hunt and will require a lot of sitting and glassing at times. Be prepared to have your Binos attached to your face for 12+ hours a day, we have tons of bears but it's amazing how long they stay hidden before you can lay eyes on one. Also, This hunt can get quite physical at times as well. We may have to cross creeks and climb fairly steep slopes to get a shot opportunity, 10 mile hiking days are not uncommon. Our camps are primarily tent based, This allows us to move into game rich areas and avoid overharvesting the wildlife. A lot of lodges you will find look amazing and offer great comforts but lack in game populations from overharvest and therefore have lower success rates than the method I utilize.
Starting from $18,500.00
Alaska This hunt takes place from mid to late April to the middle of May on Kodiak Island. This hunt can only be had if hunter successfully draws a bear tag in the state big game lottery draw. ( I will provide more information if you contact me) Hunt is a 10 day trip, you will most likely see a lot of bears during this hunt as days are very long and bears are quite mobile coming out of dens. Also, Boar Brown bears are beginning to chase sows around as mating season takes off. Hunter needs to be able to walk at least 3 miles per day and be able to climb up and down slopes from sea level of around 2000' or so at least. Hunter should be able to carry a 35# pack as well while hiking.
Starting from $8,000.00
Alaska Hunt is conducted from late August until beginning of October, at this time of year the bears are up high feeding in the blueberry patches. We usually see several shooter black bears during the 7 day trip and the hunter usually has several opportunities at these bears. We camp out of Arctic oven tents with either propane or wood based stoves for added warmth and the ability to dry out clothing. Hunter needs to be able to walk at least 3 miles daily (if hunter can walk much further odds of success rise) and be able to climb up and down steep several hundred foot slopes. Also, being able to carry a 35# pack.
Starting from $16,000.00
Alaska This hunt is very similar to our spring spot and stalk hunt the biggest difference is at this time of the year the bears are more localized and feeding on Blueberries at higher elevations. The days are shorter and cooler at this time of year as well which also promotes bear activity. The hunting day is spent glassing the blueberry covered slopes looking for bears in the seemingly never ending blueberry patches covering the tundra. Black bear can also be harvested and are a common sight. ($2,500 per black bear) Wolves and Wolverine are sometimes spotted and can be harvested at no additional cost. (must have locking tags for all add-on species)
Starting from $8,000.00
Alaska This hunt is a 7 day spot and stalk hunt in Southcentral Alaska from spring into early Summer. During this time bears are coming out if hibernation and beginning to travel looking for fresh spring foods and females. This is an optics intensive hunt and we could potentially walk a lot as well glassing the hillsides looking for bears.
Starting from $9,000.00
Alaska This 7 day hunt is very similar to our baited grizzly/brown bear hunts. The difference is that we will be targeting black bears specifically. We have alot of black bears hitting our baits during baiting season it is not uncommon to see 5-15 bears on each bait station. This hunt, like my other bait hunts are 1x1 only this allows for less human scent and noise on the station and allows the guide and client to sit right next to one another in a 2-man tree stand. Our stands will be 17 to 20 yards from the bait-site so this hunt is great for archers! The cost of the hunt covers 2 black bears per hunter (hunters must have tags ahead of time) my areas are 3 black bear per year areas and the hunter may shoot a 3rd black bear if time allows for an additional $2,500
