Fall Kodiak Brown BearStarting from $18,500.00

Alaska • This hunt takes place from mid to late October to the end of November on Kodiak Island. This hunt can only be had if hunter successfully draws a bear tag in the state big game lottery draw. ( I will provide more information if you contact me) Hunt is a 10 day trip, we typically see a lot of bears on this hunt as well just like our Spring hunt. the difference is on this hunt the bears seem to usually be much lower in elevation and easier to get to on stalks. Also depending on the year the bears might be down low on the salmon streams and mussel beds looking for food. When this happens it makes it very easy to get on the bear for a shot opportunity. Hunt are based out of Artic Oven Tents outfitted with wood stoves for added warmth and the ability to dry clothing and gear. We only try to shoot bears over 8' in size, many bears over the years have been killed over 10' in the area and the biggest bear squared 11'1" in size! The hunt is very optics intensive as we sit many hours glassing for bears, these bears can be hard to see in the brush so you got to stay in the glass as often as possible to find them. Sitka Black-Tailed deer can be hunted as well during hunt for an additional fee.

Yukon • The Alaska-Yukon moose which we hunt are the largest of all moose. Spreads up to 70 inches are possible however most moose taken are in the 54 – 58 inch, 190 plus B & C point range. As with the moose, our mountain caribou are among the world's largest. Antlers are correspondingly massive. A big bull caribou in his rutting colors is a majestic sight you may never forget. Our Yukon goats are the largest of the species due to being the most northern goat population. Dall or white sheep make up about 95% of our sheep with the remaining 5% showing a very light fannin color. Sheep are hunted with horses in one area and by backpack in the other. Spring hunts using jet boats and hiking give you the best success on big boars. These can be very physically demanding if you want to hike or very relaxing if you prefer just to float. Fall moose hunts give you the next best odds plus you will take a moose and or a caribou home.
