Only two deer I've seen all day was two year old doe that I made her wag her tail and bounce off, then a couple of minutes later I saw our little four pointer we call " forks", he was bout 30yds away. So awesome to see God's creatures in person and just watch them
Only deer grunt I use. Love it and highly recommend it. Not the cheapest out there but man the deer respond to it and you want need to purchase another one! YouTube has lots of videos on history of it and use of it as well. Lots of study went into producing the sound of it. I personally always use the young buck or middle setting. Operation Release Stinky was a success! Both kids got to watch me release the skunk safely AND not get sprayed lol. Glad the kids got to see some outdoors stuff and wildlife upfront
Took my 15yr old daughter out for her first deer hunt. We sat in my fiancé's blind. In a couple of hours we seen a lot of squirrels and then she spotted her first deer (doe) about 30yds out. She didn't want to stay longer, which I didn't want to force her to then she really wouldn't enjoy the outdoors. Main thing is that she had fun and I got to enjoy the moment with ... Read more
MichiganbowAnd here I have been thinking as my oldest is 11 that I should have had her out a long time ago. Up until this year I just did not think she was ready. So this is great to see.
*@Michiganbow She's been wanting to go for awhile now, I just wanted to make sure she really wanted to go. She wants to go back out again Thursday afternoon
Just got done putting some peanut butter jars out and some corn in front of my ladder stand (10yds away), and same thing in front of my fiancés blind (15yds away). We're both headed out in the morning for our first deer hunt together of the season. We miss opening weekend due to me having the covid. Hopefully we'll see some movement
