Another great night in the low country... Kyle dropped a tasty 100 lb sow and Jake got a 160 lb boar for the wall! If you are ready to join us, check out www.lowcountryhunting.com for tons of info on our hunts as well as our calendar of open hunting dates.
Congratulations to Marc on his nice sow! Unfortunately it had been shot before and was not edible... You can see how poor it looks and the hump of meat missing from above the shoulder. Hogs are tough!!
Congratulations to Chad on his monster 250lb boar! His beast had one razor sharp 3 inch cutter and one that was broken off from fighting... A true low country warrior.
When it's hot and dry, nothing helps the hog hunting more than a good rain! Hogs have been moving late all week due to 90+degrees days. However yesterday's rain cooled everything off and allowed Dave to shoot this nice 100lb sow before dark.
Congratulations to Allen on taking this beautiful boar Friday night! Like we say, if you don't mind a little heat, it's still a great time to hog hunt ð€£
Ray was in the Wild Kingdom stand last night and had all kinds of action including coyotes chasing deer by and a mama coon with babies trying to get in the stand with him. Fortunately this perfect eating sow came by too, and he rolled her up.
Check out the crazy cutters on David's big boar from Saturday night! Most hogs don't live long enough to grow big teeth, and those that do usually break them off fighting with other big boars. So this will really make a amazing skull mount.
